DevCon Day 01
After my appointment this morning and lunch at Rudy's BBQ, I started my trip to the West Coast.
I rode on Hwy. 290 all the way to Austin Texas, I stop at Napalm Motorsports to take a gander at what they had. They had lots of Victory motorcycle and more Victory accessories than any other Victory shop I seen so far. I was not going to buy anything, but I ended up buying a cool T-Shirt.
I continued on to Ranch Road 1431 through the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge and found a great road "Cow Creek Road", it's a great scenic ride.
After riding and taking photos in Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge I mad my way over to Burnet Texas.
I had dinner at the Highlander Inn (Very Good Ribeye) and booked a room at the Best Western for the night.

Big Bend Day 5

A great way to start out the day, breakfast overlooking the Riverwalk in San Antonio TX.
We packed up and checked out of the Courtyard Marriott near noon. and headed out of town East on Highway 10.
We stopped for fuel at Luling, TX, the Bcc-Ee's had a line on the feeder road just to get in to the parking lot, so we decided to fuel up at Love's Travel Stop on the other side of the Freeway.
After fueling we hopped on Highway 90 and headed to Houston.
We stopped for lunch in Columbus, TX at Nancy's Steakhouse and met up with Sherri's friend Otilia from Smithville, TX.
Back on the road the traffic was backed up on Highway I-10, so we decided to head down 10 miles on Highway 77 to Highway Alt 90 and headed East to Highway 59 and then the Toll road and we arrived home around 7 PM.
I had a great extended weekend to Big Bend and back. I look forward to going back.
