Sunday Ride With Friends

Back from my Europe trip and pick up my motorcycle from the shop for it's 30,000 mile service last week. I had the bike out a couple of time but not on a all day ride.

Paul, Kathy, Sherri & I took off from Kelly's Country Cookin Where we had breakfast. At 9:00 AM we headed out towards Chambers & Liberty County areas for our ride today.

Around noon we end up at the Riverside Inn Marina for some refreshment, Bloody Mary for me.

Afterward we headed down to Kemah to grab some lunch at Outriggers.

Today was a great day for a ride! Thanks Paul for leading.

Scooters In Amsterdam Germany

Chris (My Son) & I have been in Europe over a week on vacation (Or as the locals say it, "We are on Holiday"). Our original plans were to rent cycle and ride around Europe for a couple a weeks. The weather has had different plan for us. It has been raining about half the time and the weather has been cold. So we been in a car for the trip except for the 20th the weather was great in Amsterdam Germany, so we decided to grab a couple of scooters for the day.

We rented the scooters from Hotel Scooters for a reasonable price of 49.00 Euros each for the day (Insurance Included). There was no choice on type or size, 50 cc black Vespa were our rides for the day. The max for our speed was 40 KPH, but we had a blast riding around town.

Our first stop was the Heineken Brewery, If you are ever in Amsterdam I recommend visiting! Afterwards we hopped over to the Van Gogh Museum. Starry Night is my favorite.

We stopped for lunch at a corner cafe and after lunch we rode all round town the rest of the afternoon.

Scooter are a great way to see Amsterdam!

By the way, Amsterdam have over 600,000 bicycle riders and bike trails everywhere! I have never seen so many bicycle in one place.
